Reflections; I have been searching for years for A barn out in the middle of a field; this is not the one. As I was driving through Lincoln Ma. I noticed this reflection in the water. I stoped on the side of the road and took several shots of this architectural masterpiece.

One of my favorite songs from the Allman Brothers is: Back Where it all Began. Whenever I listen to this song I can't help to think about the upcoming event: The Family Reunion. I can't wait! It is exciting to envision all of our friends, cousins, aunts, and uncles are going to be in one place at the same time; this amazes me. The reunion committee has been getting together for a while now and we are making great progress. There has been a temporary Eve-ite created for the event. Although it was extremely expensive; our trip to Bermuda proved that sometimes we have to travel great distances to capture lifetime images. This image is one of many that I had captured, on a day that was filled with bright sun and a plethora of interesting photo ops. This picture is of a church that was never completed in downtown Hamilton circa 1400s. I was awestruck by the tremendous perspective seen from what would've been the beginning of naïve, looking north towards the altar. Another interesting visual effect portrayed in this shot, is the tremendous textures created by the different masonry modules used on this ancient piece of architecture.

A gray sky is proven to be a wonderful backdrop for the silhouette of this Japanese Maple. The juxtaposition of the leaves and branches create some pleasing geometries. The composition in the frame, feathers out from the lower left-hand corner to create some interesting forms; much like those found in cumulus clouds.

New Year's Eve at Lisa and Steve's house, was a lot of fun. The children broke in the new year outside on Steve Casey's self constructed hockey rink. This is a picture of Carlo as he bowed to the crowd during his ice-skating exhibition. This shot was chosen to be the 2011 "picture of the year." There were many good shots taken, as I painfully try to become familiar with my new high-powered flash. Happy new year! CLK
